Museum's
Sponsorships Increase
The
National Vietnam War Museum has added two new sponsors to its growing
list of supporters.
Through
the efforts of Board of Directors member Choi Nguyen, The Republic of
Vietnam Air Force (VNAF) Veterans of Fort Worth accepted sponsorship
status. This is the first such sponsorship from an organization not
connected to US forces. Efforts are also underway to establish sponsorship
relations with other allied country veterans organizations.
In
addition, the Louisiana State Council of the Vietnam Veterans Association
(VVA) has joined the Texas State VVA organization as a museum sponsor.
It is expected that both chapters will be supporting the effort to establish
the national VVA organization as a museum sponsor.
These
two new sponsors have joined an august group that includes NAM-POW (the
organization of Vietnam POWs), The American Legion, the Americal Division
Veterans Association, and The Vietnam Center at Texas Tech, to name
but a few.
